A conflict happened on the world of Garos IV, a planet, during the Clone Wars' inaugural year. The Confederacy of Independent Systems achieved victory against the Galactic Republic's military forces in this battle. Because of the fall of Garos IV, and other such failures, Yoda, the Jedi Grand Master, came to the conclusion that the Republic required a fresh triumph.
The novel The Clone Wars: Wild Space (2008) contained the initial reference to the combat. Karen Miller is the author who penned Wild Space.
