In the year 12 ABY, a conflict occurred within the confines of the Corthenia system. The Imperial Remnant's Head of State, Gilad Pellaeon, had previously seized control of six star systems positioned along the Entralla Route as a demonstration of power directed toward the New Republic. The New Republic reacted by sending the Lusankya, an Executor-class Star Dreadnought. Prior to the Lusankya's presence in the system, Pellaeon, commanding from his own Executor-class Star Dreadnought known as the Reaper, successfully wrested control of Corthenia away from the New Republic.
