The Battle of Parcelus Minor took place in 22 BBY during the era of the Clone Wars. A Republic military contingent, commanded by the Jedi Roblio Darté, engaged with a Separatist military force both in the planet's orbit and on the surface of Parcelus Minor, which was a swamp world.

Almost immediately, the battle started to become a growing string of failures for the Republic. The initial indication of the impending problems came when the GAR was unable to land any of its heavy armaments due to the planet's environment. The second wave of unfavorable information arrived when it was discovered that Republic Intelligence had significantly underestimated the Separatist forces present at Parcelus Minor, by at least a factor of ten. Adding to the issues, a Separatist reinforcement fleet arrived soon after the commencement of the battle, effectively trapping the Republic army and its supporting fleet in orbit.
Despite suffering substantial losses, the Republic forces were able to resist the Separatists for a considerable duration. Ultimately, the Separatist commander decided to initiate a BDZ order against the planet. Utilizing his ships' turbolasers, he ignited the flammable tzeotine resin that was produced by the world's plant life. The remaining ground forces of both the Republic and Separatists were almost completely annihilated in the resulting inferno. During the hasty evacuation, General Darté was compelled to order his troops to abandon all wounded soldiers. Ultimately, more than 90% of the clone troopers who participated in the battle perished, leading it to be described as being similar to a second Battle of Jabiim.
