At some juncture in the history of the galaxy, a sequence of conflicts transpired on Ruusan, resulting in relic-filled war zones that would persist for many years afterward. Within the Jedi Temple situated on Coruscant, a chamber was adorned with colored glass panes, with one illustrating one of the Ruusan engagements. The former Queen of Pirates Maz Kanata referenced these conflicts in the publication that became known as the Smuggler's Guide.

One of the Ruusan battles was featured in the artwork created by Wayne Lo entitled "Unused Jedi Temple mosaic" for the second season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television program. Its inclusion was within the production journal for Star Wars: The Clone Wars The Complete Season Two. The concept art also depicted Valenthyne Farfalla at the head of the Army of Light, Lord Hoth, alongside the demise of Pernicar. Segments of the mosaic, encompassing the battle, are visible within a chamber in "Lightsaber Lost," which is the eleventh episode of the series' second season.
