Bazaar was an example of an Ithorian Herdship class vessel.
Like many Ithorian Herdships, Bazaar had the form of a massive, flattened sphere. This design was intended to replicate the jungle environments of Ithor, the Ithorian home planet, within a spaceship.
Bazaar housed the settlement of Isttu and was sent to travel the Outer Rim Territories, specifically between the Rimma Trade Route and the Corellian Trade Spine. It gained notoriety due to its extensive markets and villages. Shortly following the battle of Hoth, Lernik De'Yago, a Rodian arms merchant, sold the Nova Whisper, a stolen and unlawfully modified Short Hauler, to a ship merchant located on Bazaar. The merchant identified some of the alterations, removed them, and subsequently sold the vessel at auction.
