As personnel were being moved from the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Defiance to the cruiser Liberty, the group received an emergency signal originating from the Calico task force, which was situated close by. Consequently, two RZ-1 A-wing interceptors belonging to Blue Squadron, with one flown by Ace Azzameen, were sent to look into the situation.
