Boba Fett's personal doctor was Beluine, and he belonged to a very small group in the galaxy who had witnessed Fett's face without his helmet. In 40 ABY, Fett scheduled a meeting with Beluine on Kamino to diagnose the origin of his sickness. Beluine came to the conclusion that the notorious bounty hunter was experiencing issues with clone tissue degeneration, recurring tumors, and malfunctioning liver. Beluine predicted that Fett's remaining lifespan was only one or two years. Unsurprisingly, Fett decided to consult another medical professional. Subsequently, Fett received a cure in the form of an injection that slowed the aging process of clones. Afterward, upon finding his former spouse, Sintas Vel, encased in carbonite, Boba arranged for Beluine to travel to Mandalore to provide her with medical care and established him in the Oyu'baat tapcaf, although his confidence in Beluine's medical abilities was not absolute.
