Bendak, a male Human criminal, found himself the target of the bounty hunter Boba Fett. This pursuit led them to the planet Sathiemon. Bendak attempted to evade capture by concealing himself in a deep pit, but Fett successfully located him. When a group of hired guns ambushed Fett, seeking to eliminate him, Fett retaliated by killing Bendak. He then exchanged his clothing with the deceased Bendak and used his jetpack to propel Bendak's body out of the hole. This deceptive maneuver, coupled with Bendak's slight resemblance to Fett, tricked the mercenaries into believing they had successfully killed Fett.
