Bio-Lab 242
Bio-Lab 242 was a laboratory located on the Vector, an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer.
History
The laboratory, in 1 BBY, featured numerous vacant glass cells when Zahara Cody found herself marooned on the Vector following the destruction of most of the Purge crew. The ventilation was not working, and many computer terminals were non-functional, with keys strewn about the lab floor. Nevertheless, one terminal was still working, displaying text and awaiting input. This terminal operated a wall panel, which, when moved, revealed another cell. Inside this cell were two yellowed bodies suspended from the ceiling by tubes and wires. A black liquid was being pumped into each corpse via a wire in its chest. When Cody activated the panel, the cell's ventilation system started, and the two bodies detached from the wires and tubes, except for those carrying the black liquid. These bodies transformed into zombies, and they began to swing back and forth before violently striking the glass, leaving large red marks. While in the laboratory, she was also attacked by a scientist who had been infected. Following the defeat of the scientist with the assistance of a 2-1B surgical droid, she departed in search of an undamaged console within the hangar bay.
