Birok served as the head of a criminal organization situated on the world of Diado. Those within his organization frequently addressed him as "Boss".

Biography

Birok, a figure deeply embedded in criminal activities, maintained strong connections with the Confederacy of Independent Systems. This connection was particularly evident through the CIS Weapons Factory, which was under the Confederacy's control. The events leading to Birok's demise occurred when Jedi Master Saesee Tiin arrived on Diado. Tiin's mission was to abscond with a Separatist experimental starfighter. This mission led him into a confrontation with Birok and his criminal group. Birok met his end within the clandestine weapons manufacturing facility that housed the fighter; Tiin, in his escape, utilized the fighter's weaponry to destroy the command center, resulting in Birok's death.

Behind the scenes

Birok's initial appearance was in the short story titled It Takes a Thief. This story formed part of the sixth collection within the Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures series of collected comics. The character of Birok was conceived and illustrated by the collaborative efforts of Matthew and Shawn Fillbach. Furthermore, Birok's character profile was included in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia.
