The Black Epsilon Ace Pilot Badge. Black Epsilon represented an Imperial squadron engaged in clandestine operations. These missions, by nature, were either excessively delicate or insufficiently substantial for management by the Imperial Navy. Direct reporting to the Emperor was required for Black Epsilon. Unusually, this Imperial unit employed a significant contingent of non-Human personnel.
