The Blue Deck existed as a specific section within Sel Zonn Station.
In contrast to the rest of the space station, the Blue Deck was kept immaculate and in excellent condition because it was exclusively for the use of Imperial staff. The Empire's emblems were prominently displayed throughout the deck, alongside portraits of Emperor Palpatine. Stormtroopers provided security at all points of entry and departure.
An Imperial informant, Skig Banos, resided on this deck. Following his recruitment by Alderaanian Security, the droid information broker known as Switch orchestrated the storage of one of their operatives, preserved in carbonite, within the deck's primary cargo hold. A team of spacers employed by the Alderaanians subsequently traveled there to retrieve the carbonite-encased agent.
