Bolt was a sergeant in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars, acting as a clone trooper for the Galactic Republic.
Bolt's duties included providing security for the Republic medical frigate Medica. During one such assignment, Separatists ambushed the Medica, and Bolt emerged as the sole survivor without injuries. Subsequently, the Medica rescued the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was marooned on an asteroid. While Kenobi was aboard, wounded Zygerrian deserters attacked the ship, seeking to seize its bacta supply. Bolt, Kenobi, and a wounded clone trooper worked together to repel the attackers. Afterwards, they apprehended the Zygerrians, providing medical care for their injuries during their transport to a detention facility.
