Attack on the Memorial Shrine
In the early days of 21 BBY, a resurgence of the Mandalorian faction, specifically the Death Watch, masterminded and executed a bombing at the Memorial Shrine located within Peace Park in Sundari, which served as the capital for the New Mandalorian government on Mandalore.
The bombing
Duchess Satine Kryze and Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi were strolling through the Peace Park gardens when a member of Death Watch set off the bomb. Many individuals within the area of the explosion suffered injuries as a result.
Following the detonation, a holographic representation of the Death Watch's emblem was discovered at the site. Kenobi and her guards escorted the Duchess away from the chaos, while the Jedi Master instructed that all individuals present should be interrogated. The bomber, who had been silently observing from the crowd, suddenly bolted, prompting Kenobi to pursue him. After cornering the bomber on a balcony with no exit, the Death Watch operative began firing at the Jedi using a blaster pistol. Ultimately, after a brief struggle where he lost his weapon, and facing imprisonment, the bomber chose to jump from the balcony, falling to his death below.
