Botajef Shipyards, situated on the Outer Rim planet of Botajef, was a relatively minor producer of starships. Their rise to widespread recognition across the galaxy began during the Clone Wars with their creation of the AA-9 Freighter-Liner. Not long after this success, they endeavored to break into the military sector by manufacturing the SS-54 assault ship.
