The Botrut constituted a notable Ugnaught tribe, originating from the world Gentes, alongside the Isced and Irden tribes. Ecclessis Figg relocated a significant number of Botrut Ugnaughts to Cloud City on Bespin, where they worked in his tibanna mining operations. The Ugnaught species had three well known tribes, all from the same planet.
