Bounty #239 was the identifier that the bounty hunter Boba Fett assigned to a male Bith rogue. This Bith made his fortune by deceiving and swindling victims across the galaxy. The Bith's actions generated significant animosity, even from former allies, leading to a bounty being placed on his head, which Fett intended to claim.

The Bith male criminal, whom bounty hunter Boba Fett knew as "Bounty #239," earned the ire of individuals in over a dozen star systems due to his fraudulent dealings, broken agreements, and sale of faulty goods. On one occasion, while on the Core World planet of Corellia, he allowed his partners to take the blame for a swindle he orchestrated. Consequently, those he wronged put a bounty on his head, which Fett aimed to collect.
However, over the years, the Bith had accumulated a small army, consisting of approximately twenty typical mercenaries, as well as a pair of Trandoshan twin brothers – individuals who had previously caused problems for Fett on Ryloth – and three IG-88 assassin droids shielded against ion weaponry, rendering them largely immune to Clone Wars-era electromagnetic pulse grenades.
Having accepted the assignment, Fett devised a rapid strike against Bounty #239's compound and his associates. Fett's strategy involved killing Bounty #239 and demolishing his fortress by carrying a substantial arsenal—beyond just an EE-3 carbine rifle and a jetpack—and employing a "shock and awe" tactic.
Bounty #239, with his [black](/article/color-legends] eyes and bald head, was a skilled con artist who thrived on deceiving others throughout the galaxy. He exhibited a degree of paranoia, which led him to invest his credits in a sizable group of mercenaries and droids, as well as a fortified compound for his personal use.
Bounty #239 was conceived as Boba Fett's target in a story for the non-canon Star Wars Mythos project. The story's overall style and aesthetic drew inspiration from the Spaghetti Western film genre, with Fett's attire specifically influenced by Clint Eastwood's "Man with No Name" character. The creators intentionally left certain aspects of the narrative ambiguous, such as the timing of Fett's planned raid on Bounty #239's compound and whether the bounty hunter ultimately carried out his plan.
