Brenu, a sungrazer planetoid without any moons, held the position of second celestial body orbiting the star known as Beheboth. This star was the central point of the Beheboth system, located within the Sanbra sector of the Trailing Sectors, which itself formed part of the expansive Outer Rim Territories.
The initial mention of Brenu occurred in "Return to Prosperity," which served as the introductory article for the Planet Hoppers series titled Beheboth: Blood and Water. This article, penned by Cory J. Herndon, was initially hosted on the website of Wizards of the Coast and made available on June 3, 2004. Later, in 2009, The Essential Atlas, a reference book, pinpointed the Beheboth system, and consequently Brenu, within grid square O-17.
