Brintak

Brintaks were a very large, powerfully built quadrupedal animal that originated on Giaca. Their sizable, extended head was filled with numerous lines of extremely sharp teeth, and on either side of their mouth was a tentacle-like extension ending in a barb, used to capture and inject venom into their prey. They inhabited many of the large toroc tree forests of Giaca, where they obtained sustenance from the groves and nearby areas by luring prey into their jaws. While the biggest brintaks typically hunted alone, smaller, younger brintaks would hunt together in groups of four to six. Brintaks exhibited social behavior, with groups of as many as twenty individuals residing in nests within the empty interiors of toroc trees, often located at considerable heights.
