Brock Peters


Brock Peters, born in 1927 and passing away on August 23, 2005, was a versatile american performer, known for his work as an actor, singer, and as a voice artist.

In the audio adaptations of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi for radio drama, Peters lent his voice to the character of Darth Vader. These performances took place in 1981, 1983, and 1996. Furthermore, in 1997, he provided the voice of Darth Vader for the read-along story books based on the Original trilogy. These recordings were later re-utilized in the 2015 read-along story book editions.
