The Bronze Nimbus represented a specific group among the Jabiimi Military's various special forces teams. Before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Alto Stratus held the rank of Commander within this unit. His growing dissatisfaction with the perceived lack of courage within the Jabiim Army led him to utilize the Bronze Nimbus as the foundation for the organization that later became known as the Nationalist Army. In time, the Bronze Nimbus underwent a transformation, ultimately becoming the Nimbus commandos.
