A sizable lizard known as a bruwose originated from Moorja. These lizards were essentially sightless, instead relying on sound, heat, and scent for direction. They possessed sizable talons on their front paws, employing them to sift through loose rock in pursuit of smaller creatures. Their light-colored skin offered minimal defense during combat.
Following a half-year from the Battle of Endor, Dirk Harkness and the Black Curs arrived on Moorja subsequent to their survey of the Core Worlds. While en route to his concealed Y-wing within the Crumbling Lands, Harkness found himself ensnared by a trio of bruwoses. Not long after, he was saved by operatives of the New Republic.
