BT X-42 flamethrower

The BT X-42 heavy flamethrower, alternatively called the clone flamethrower, represented a flame-projecting weapon system engineered for the forces of the Grand Army of the Republic throughout the duration of the Clone Wars. These weapons, employed by the clone flame troopers, were specifically intended for engagement with targets lacking substantial armor protection, for example, Geonosian warriors throughout the Second Battle of Geonosis. The Mandalorian Royal Guard also utilized this weapon.

Behind the scenes

With the exception of the vertical handle used for carrying, the BT X-42 shares an identical design to the flamethrower featured within the game Star Wars Galaxies.
