A group of bursas, carnivorous and somewhat intelligent beings from the world of Naboo, were controlled by Boss Rogoe, a Gungan leader on Naboo during the conflict between the Gungan tribes. Rogoe, in 3000 BBY, commanded the bursas to launch an assault on the city of Otoh Sancture with the goal of eliminating Gallo, the city's leader whom Rogoe had begun to dread. However, Gallo was not present in Otoh Sancture at the time of the attack and avoided its devastation. Later, the bursas built their homes within the remains of Otoh Sancture, but Gallo eventually forced them to leave and subsequently triumphed over Rogoe.
