As the Clone Wars raged, Byluir ascended to the position of Moff, assuming control of the 13th Sector Army, also referred to as "Iron Lance Command." The responsibility of safeguarding the Trans-Nebular Oversector fell to the 13th Sector Army, granting Byluir virtual authority over the region.
