It was situated within the distant Cadavine sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Specifically, it was established on Gall, a moon that orbits the gas giant named Zhar within the Zhar system.
During 3.5 ABY, Boba Fett, the well-known bounty hunter, sought refuge at the Enclave. At this time, he still held Han Solo encased in carbonite. Fett's purpose was to acquire necessary repairs for his starship, known as the Slave I. Subsequently, the Rebel Alliance assembled a small team with the intention of rescuing Solo from Fett's grasp. However, the Battle of Gall saw the Imperial forces stationed at the Enclave successfully drive back the Rebels.
