The Lizard Warriors, a sentient species from the Forest Moon of Endor, employed distinct weapons: a long, slender wooden rod with an attached rope forming a loop. This contraption served to ensnare intruders in the reptilians' domain, namely the Valley of the Lizard Warriors, preventing their flight. Functioning best at short distances, especially in ambushes, the stick allowed for quick capture. Upon securing the target, the rope would tighten, granting the wielder control over the captured individual, enabling them to dictate their movement, such as forcing them to walk.
In 3 ABY, Teebo and Wicket W. Warrick, two Ewoks who had inadvertently entered the Valley of the Lizard Warriors, were seized by these reptilian beings. Subsequently, the Lizard Warriors escorted the Ewoks to Graak, an outcast from the Ewok community who commanded the Lizard Warriors.
This weapon was featured in Ewoks 4, the fourth installment of the Ewoks comic series, penned by David Manak, with illustrations by Warren Kremer, and released on July 30, 1985.
