Internet citation template archives

Subpages of Module:ArchiveAccess were formerly employed to aid internet citation templates by functioning as centralized storage for archivedate information.

In situations where you are utilizing an Internet citation template that is backed by a dedicated ArchiveAccess subpage:

  • The italicized presentation of (backup link) indicates the absence of an archivedate within ArchiveAccess for the given URL, signaling a necessary update to the template's archive.
  • Conversely, the bold formatting of (backup link) denotes that the archivedate entered manually coincides with the cached archivedate, suggesting the manual entry can be eliminated from the specific citation template instance.
