The Centralia Memorial Spaceport stood as one of the most venerable spaceports located on Coruscant. It saw infrequent use, but it served as a frequent point of arrival and departure for numerous Jedi both during and prior to the Clone Wars, who leveraged it for clandestine and perilous assignments when landing at the adjacent Jedi Temple was not an option.
A proposition was made, similar to other aged Coruscant spaceports, to transform the CMS into a memorial site; however, various groups opposed this idea, even though several other spaceports were successfully converted into monuments.
