This corvette of the Assassin-class was the personal vessel of Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin. As part of a deceptive strategy to acquire pirate captives and a TIE Defender scientist, it presented itself at Red Claw's coordinates, feigning to be the initial vessel from the Chemeti corvette group, falsely claiming the other was "delayed". During the prisoner exchange, Zaarin's own TIE Defenders launched an assault, which turned out to be a distraction. Once the attack was fought off, the corvette jumped into hyperspace. Shortly after, the actual corvettes made their appearance. It was only then that the Imperial forces understood they had fallen victim to a deception.
