Light cruiser
The well-known Arquitens-class light cruiser existed as a type of light cruiser.
Within various classification systems, the designation light cruiser was applied to different types of warships and capital ships. The Chiss Ascendancy made use of light cruisers as part of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet. For example, a pair of Chiss light cruisers participated in a battle over Sunrise against the Grysk Hegemony together with a large Chiss fleet, and the Xodlak family employed two small light cruisers within their family fleet.
