Behind the scenes

Chokk made his initial appearance in the 1999 film, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. His identity as one of Jabba Desilijic Tiure's bodyguards during the Boonta Eve Classic was later confirmed in Star Wars: Episode I The Visual Dictionary. However, the Star Wars Customizable Card Game and the Young Jedi Collectible Card Game, both released in 2001, presented a contradictory depiction. While both card games used an image of a Klatooinian in a red tunic, the Visual Guide shows Chokk as an armed guard standing near Jabba, which conflicts with the card games' imagery. He was played by Bill Tlusty.
