Chrin was a Human male officer who served in the Royal Naboo Security Forces under the command of Captain Gregar Typho during the period of the Clone Wars.
Back in 22 BBY, Captain Typho chose Chrin, along with one other RNSF Palace Guards, to look into claims of Separatist battle droids being present on Naboo. He expressed doubt regarding these reports, which originated from Peppi Bow, a Gungan shaak herder. When the reports proved accurate, Typho gently rebuked him. Following this, he aided his captain in scouting and eliminating a droid patrol using an RPS-6 missile launcher.
Afterward, Chrin and Typho retrieved the remnants of the T-series tactical droid in addition to the B1-Series battle droids. They then brought them back to Theed, the capital, to determine why they were on the peaceful world, which had, up until that point, remained unaffected by the Clone Wars.
