Clandes existed as a settlement found on Ord Cestus. An industrial city, it housed a communications landline junction deep below. Furthermore, mines encircled it. Its position was 300 kilometers to the south of ChikatLik and 75 kilometers to the southeast of the Dashta Mountains. It was constructed atop a former X'Ting hive.
In reality, it wasn't a city in the conventional sense, but rather a sprawling 1000-square-kilometer Clandes Industrial complex extending twenty-four levels beneath the surface. This complex represented sixty percent of Cestus' economic activity, which includes the manufacturing of Jedi Killer droids.
