CLL-M2 binary loadlifter
The CLL-M2 binary lifter, also known as the CLL-M2 ordnance loadlifter, or more simply, the pincer droid, represented Cybot Galactica's adaptation for military applications of their CLL-6 binary load lifter droid.
Characteristics

This droid was supported by strong durasteel legs, which were secured by two magnapod disks. It featured exceptionally thick plating to shield it from both enemy fire and accidental explosions of ordnance. Its manipulators were designed for handling cargo skids and missiles, while its basic processing unit was located centrally within the droid, protected by a single, large photoreceptor. A repulsorlift engine on the droid's posterior allowed it to compensate when lifting loads exceeding its own weight. The droid was programmed to respond to spoken instructions from its operators, but communicated exclusively in Binary. While not particularly intelligent, it was programmed to manage ammunition, reload armaments, and execute rudimentary repairs. A new unit cost 15,000 credits.
History
During the period of the Clone Wars, clone commanders would deploy teams of CLL-M2 ordnance lifters to salvage any recoverable pieces of equipment after the Separatists had destroyed Republic gunships or military installations.
Behind the scenes
According to The Droids of Episode III and The New Essential Guide to Droids, this model stands 3 meters tall, however, Star Wars Chronicles: The Prequels indicates a height of 6.7 meters.
