Publisher's summary

The planet Lanteeb, situated in the Outer Rim, lacks strategic significance and political influence, but it faces a major crisis: an invasion by a newly emboldened Separatist Alliance. Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi have infiltrated Lanteeb to uncover the reason behind this invasion, and they now face imminent danger…

Anakin and Obi-Wan, concealing their lightsabers under unassuming disguises, rely on their Jedi abilities to outmaneuver Lok Durd's droid forces on Lanteeb. The Jedi are aware that a captured scientist has provided Durd with the means to create a devastating bioweapon. Durd, in turn, knows that the Jedi are present on his planet. As Yoda calls upon the collective strength of the Jedi Council, a new Separatist technology disrupts the Guardians' communications, and treachery lurks within the Republic's government, the gears of war continue to turn. However, the Separatists have imposed a blockade on Lanteeb. The final preparations are underway for a weapon capable of obliterating entire worlds. It falls upon the two Jedi Knights and their most trusted allies to either liberate Lanteeb or face dire consequences.
