The Conductor towers functioned as the emitters responsible for the generation of the Omega Frost phenomenon. This phenomenon was contained exclusively between a pair of these towers, with no spread beyond that area. The initial towers deployed on the planet of Tatooine were of a smaller scale compared to the massive structures employed within the Asteroid Corridor. These larger towers in the corridor included integrated force field generators, although these protective fields did not reach beneath the surface level.
