The Confiscation Authority functioned as the government organization responsible for managing the seized assets located on numerous Republic prison planets, reporting to the Overseer of Prison Worlds. Individual branches of this Authority existed on each prison planet, managing the seizure of items acquired during investigations and arrests at different Confiscation Stations.
