Contruum's Pride, a transport of moderate size, served as a vessel within the naval forces commanded by Warlord Zsinj. When Zsinj's forces probed the Pyria system, the New Republic dispatched Rogue Squadron to engage Vengeance Derra IV, the starship that had tried to penetrate the defenses of Borleias. The squadron discovered Vengeance receiving supplies from Contruum's Pride while in orbit around Mrisst.
Pash Cracken of Rogue Squadron determined that the name Pride was a misnomer, as it did not adhere to established Contruum naming practices, and the squadron launched an assault. During the engagement, Contruum's Pride sustained damage, lost all of its TIE/LN starfighters, and was forced to disengage from combat, instead using its tractor beams to prevent Vengeance Derra IV from being destroyed by Mrisst's atmosphere.
