Blaster, a section within the pages of Star Wars Insider magazine, made its initial debut in issue Star Wars Insider 101. This department is dedicated to showcasing the most recent merchandise, encompassing books, comics, collectibles, and playthings. Furthermore, it incorporates specialized sub-sections such as Ask Lobot, Bounty Hunters (a collection of images featuring fans alongside Star Wars celebrities), and Bantha Tracks. It took the place of the magazine's previous segment, Jawa's Corner.
Since issue Star Wars Insider 179, Christopher Cooper has taken on the role of editor for Blaster.
