Within the Star Wars Galaxies game, Corellian Fried Ice Cream existed as two separate entities. Initially, a chef could create Corellian Fried Ice Cream as a culinary item. Visually, it was identical to Tranna nougat cream. Following Publish 6, the recipe for this initial version of Corellian Fried Ice Cream was taken out of the game, similar to some other food and beverage items. When the Corellian Fried Ice Cream Fryer was introduced, along with its associated creation, the original Corellian Fried Ice Cream maintained its unique appearance and remained a distinct item within the game.
