Corlir was a Hutt of male disposition. Functioning as the head of the Vanderijar kajidic, he operated around the period of the Galactic Civil War. As Vanderijar's representative on the Hutt Ruling Council, Corlir, despite being vocal and forceful, found his impact on the Council diminished. This was due to Vanderijar's combative smuggling tactics and conflicts with the Galactic Empire. Consequently, Corlir was heavily criticized by fellow Hutts and faced pressure to relinquish his position on the Ruling Council, to prevent Vanderijar from provoking an Imperial response against the Hutts.
