Counterpart encryption

Droid counterparts employed a method known as counterpart encryption to facilitate the transmission of encoded communications between them droid counterparts. This involved a droid dispatching a sophisticatedly encrypted signal that was designed to be exceptionally challenging to decipher by any entity other than its intended counterpart.
