The cratsch, a predator that lived in trees, was originally from Bakura. One time, Wilek Nereus himself killed one and displayed its teeth in his office. Attracted to namana trees because of the flocks of birds eating its fruit, the cratsch would wait for the birds to fall to the ground, unable to fly and happily dazed, before consuming them. Even though its hunting method was somewhat peaceful, the cratsch was a formidable combatant. Each male would claim a group of namana trees by using musk glands near the base of its furry, grasping black tail to mark the territory. It would then protect those trees from other male cratsches. During mating season, a dominant male could effectively guard a vast area of forest. The cratsch possessed a wedge-shaped head featuring black "mask" patterns, a slender, flexible body, short but powerful legs, climbing claws that could be retracted, and brown fur.
