Crewman-cadet

Officer hopefuls in the Imperial Navy who were part of the Imperial Academy structure were known as crewman-cadets. A standard training period for them spanned twelve months at a Sector Naval Academy, after which they received their commissions as Lieutenants.

Conversely, the training program at the main Imperial Naval Academy extended for a duration of thirty months.
