CS-1 cargo sled
The CS-1 Cargo Sled represented a collaborative manufacturing effort between the Loronar Corporation and Mobquet Swoops and Speeders, resulting in a repulsorcraft that was exclusively offered with the E-9 Explorer scout vessel.
Characteristics
A four-person cabin took up the majority of the CS-1's front section. The rest of the vehicle, which measured 8-meters in length, consisted of an open cargo area capable of holding up to 1,000 kilograms. The CS-1 was designed with power as a priority over speed, and its cargo capacity generally satisfied owners. However, some attempted to improve the vehicle's repulsorlift system to haul heavier loads, but these attempts rarely succeeded. To safeguard cargo in more dangerous areas, some owners managed to mount armaments, such as a blaster cannon, in the cargo bed.
History
The Loronar Corporation's E-9 Explorer scout vessel was the only product the CS-1 was sold alongside. Loronar, who lacked experience in repulsorlift vehicle design, collaborated with Mobquet Swoops and Speeders, a company renowned for its expertise in the field, to create a repulsorlift vehicle to go with the E-9. The CS-1 was jointly engineered by engineers from both Loronar and Mobquet. When purchased with the E-9, Loronar charged an additional 12,000 credits for the CS-1.
