Boomer (Advanced Recon Force trooper)
Boomer, designated as CS-2207, was a clone trooper sergeant within the Grand Army of the Republic during the era of the Clone Wars.
Biography
As an Advanced Recon Force trooper, Boomer took part in the Battle of Ryloth. Following the liberation of the capital, Lessu, by the forces of the Grand Army of the Republic, Boomer, accompanied by Captain Rex, conducted a nighttime patrol around the city of Resdin utilizing an AT-RT. Although the clone troopers successfully eliminated a significant number of battle droids, they were ultimately ambushed and captured by the notorious bounty hunter, Cad Bane. Bane's motive for capturing them alive was to safeguard the gravity weapon, which he had pilfered from the CIS, from the battle droids that were under orders to recover it. He attached explosives to the clones' restraints and promised their release upon their cooperation. Rex and Boomer were left with no alternative but to comply.
They successfully repelled multiple droid assaults, until Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano arrived to provide assistance, having tracked Rex's signal. The Jedi were able to apprehend the Duros and instructed Boomer and Rex to disarm him. Compelling Bane to cooperate, the Jedi and the clone troopers made the decision to utilize his transport, The Sleight of Hand. Bane was then compelled to transport the weapon to the ship, while the Jedi provided security and Rex and Boomer moved ahead to ensure the path was clear. Upon reaching the ship, the Jedi were ambushed by the Skakoan, Kul Teska, the originator of the gravity weapon, leading to a confrontation in which the Jedi were at a disadvantage until Rex and Boomer arrived to assist. The clones employed their weaponry against Teska, forcing him to retreat in Bane's transport, taking both the gravity weapon and Bane with him.
