The individual holding the title of Curator of Records had the duty of managing the unified archives of the Jedi Order, operating from the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant. In the closing years of the Galactic Republic, the last Curator in this role performed their duties throughout the Clone Wars, successfully evading capture when Emperor Palpatine commanded the Grand Army of the Republic to annihilate the Jedi Order. Escaping to the world of Toola, the Curator concealed themselves, along with the surviving records, within a cavern until they were ultimately discovered and eliminated by the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.
