Without dactyl, Arcona rapidly underwent a transformation, their vibrant green fading into a dull, muddy grayish-tan, their scales flaked off, and ultimately, they met their death.
The consumption of salt was known to cause a drastic surge in an Arconan's dependence on dactyl.
