Dadrus, a gas giant, was the third planet from the yellow sun named Marcellus. This gas giant orbited by a quintet of moons, was found within the Marcellus system located in the Marcellus Nebula. This entire [system](/article/star_system/legends], including Dadrus, was situated in the Meerian sector of the New Territories region of the Outer Rim Territories.
The 1992 adventure supplement Planet of the Mists, created by Nigel D. Findley and released by West End Games for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, included a reference to Dadrus. Furthermore, the 2009 book The Essential Atlas pinpointed the Marcellus system, and consequently the location of Dadrus, as being in grid square N-6.
